DESCRIPTION:
IA-HRS provides the means to collect and manage vital information
about TTU's most important asset - PEOPLE. With its integration
and flexibility, IA-PLUS-HRS can accommodate TTU's institution
unique policies and procedures. Integrated features are Applicant
Processing, Payroll, Position Control, Labor Dist. & Accounting
Control, Benefit Management, and Personnel Management.
SERVICE
OBJECTIVES SUPPORTED:
Pay employees. Keep track of employees earnings, taxes, deductions,
and benefits. Provide pools of qualified applications for vacant
positions. Keep track of budgeted and expended money by position
and account. Provide data or reports to various state and federal
agencies.
CURRENT
FUNCTION PROVIDED:
On-line access to payroll/personnel data; produce payroll checks;
produce federal and state reports; create 'tapes' of data needed
by other agencies. Automated creation of applicant pools for departments
in the process of hiring. The system produces budget/expenditure
reports by position for the different departments on campus. The
system feeds budget changes and expenditures into the financial
accounting system (FRS).
